The cage was 'gently' placed on the soil, tipping from side to side, a wolf hybrid in it. He whined lightly as he moved. A human, a man to be exact, walked by him, opening a door, then shutting it behind him. Steel flinched at the sound of the door, but then shook his head, looking to the terra before him. He whined quietly as he pawed at the cage door, trying to break out. He then slightly raised his head to the top of the cage, a shrill, mournful howl emitting from his vocals, calling to any and all dogs who could help him.

Auds pulled back as the eerie howl came through the air, sending chills up and down her spine. Mika, looked towards the pound and noticed a dog, she hadn’t seen before. She padded towards him and the pound slowly. Once she was close she came to a low prowl, pocking her head inside to see if any humans were around and then she turned towards Steel. Hey you. You want some help out of that metal trap?”

Steel quickly pulled his head down at the sound of Mika's voice. He wagged his tassle, thumping it lightly against the cage walls. He nodded his head, the femme soon coming into sight. "Yes, I would love to be out of here!" he whispered excitedly. He looked at Mika, then turn to make sure no one was coming. No one. He looked back to Mika, eyes happy and full of joy.

She nodded, and moved into the pound. She looked to the cage, oh how would she do this. She scratched at it then tried to bite through it. She the growled pushing him down to the ground, and a large clang was heard as the cage opened, she smirked then ran out quickly hearing the sounds of men coming.

Steel barked fiercly as the humans surrounded him. They backed away, knowing that he was a wolf hybrid. A man soon made a dash for Mika. Steel passed by the crowd that surrounded him, leaping in front of Mika. He would not let the human capture the one who had just saved him. He barked fiercly to the man, then nudged Mika's back lightly, telling her to go. "I'll be right behind you!" Steel reassured in case she was worried.
